    1. Red Raiders

         The Red Raiders are back and alive again! The Red Raiders are one of the most well known small armies in CP Warfare. They thrived in the army community with no doubts of  slowing. Finally, they ended up every so slowly shrinking and shrinking until they perished. Now, they are already at first place in the Top 10 due to their ever so experienced leaders such as, Asd, Blizzard, Supra, and Lidstorm! The RR had their first event not so long ago where they maxed 8 and kept 8 the whole entire time! Their tactics were just as beautiful as their sizes! Congratulations to the Red Raiders for coming back and making first in the Small Top 10!
    

    2. Sky Troops

         The Sky Troops have came back just as well and almost beat the Red Raiders! This is another legendary army that thrived for about a quarter of the year just running in to Top 10s, Winning tournaments, Winning Wars. Sky Troops used to max around 20-25! With their spectacular leadership from, Alex Cone, Everton Cool, and Kronos, they have been able to max 8 at their events! Their tactics are almost perfect! The Sky Troops look to rise again and be an amazing Major army as they were before. Congratulations to the Sky Troops for coming back and making second in the Top 10!
    

    3. Water Vikings

         Even the legendary Water Vikings are coming back and showing spectacular sizes. They Water Vikings were brought back by, Bepboy, Jake, and Supra. Their creator, Zak, is an adviser. The Water Vikings are similar to the last two armies. They used to be a medium army until they fell and died. Their first event was unscheduled. They maxed 8 and had decent tactics. Their tactics were a bit messed up due to a crazed hula dancer. (Yours Truly). On the other hand, the WV did swell in their event and are glad to be back in 3rd place!
    

    4. Ninja Freedom Force

         NFF aren’t new to the army world, but it is the first successful event they have had in a while. The Ninja Freedom Force are actually over a year old. They are one of the quietest army in Warfare, but they can be deadly if angered. The Ninja Freedom Force are led by Josiah. He’s a very experienced leader with great leadership throughout the army. The NFF are maxing 8 at events with decent tactics. Not as good as the above armies though. If they can perk up a few notches with their tactics, they’d be in first place! Congratulations to the Ninja Freedome Force for coming into the Small Top 10!
    

    5. Blaze Vikings

         Despite losing in the first round of the February Fight, the Blaze Vikings are literally on fire! Seer became very angry when he saw that his army only maxed 3 at the tourney and he had to get BV back up on their feet. Seer led a charge with recruit and tactic sessions almost every other day and tired his troops! On the other hand, the Blaze Vikings are back to maxing 7-8 and having great tactics! Seer’s hard work has paid off drastically. The Blaze Vikings are on top of the world as they are having parties, funny pictures, but the most important thing of all, is that the Blaze Vikings are now doing unscheduled events! Congratulations to the Blaze Vikings!
    

    6. Yellow Thunder

         Yet another army is on the rise and this one is one of the top stories around the army community! Yellow Thunder, are led by Sid, Ghj, and Subzero! This army does have great leadership and a unique design to their website. They just had their first event where they maxed 8 and averaged 7. The Yellow Thunder have a great name for the army and everything has seeming to be going right for them. Until they got hacked! Their widgets were all ruined, gfx was lost as well! Thankfully, they were able to quickly recover, restore anything that was lost, and actually have their event! Good Luck YT!
    

    7. Oreos

         Oreos have been struggling lately and not being able to get things done. They had 0 planned events this week which really broke my heart. It has been a dry watching the Oreos drop a spot, then another, no events?, thats 3 more, then they get placed in 7th. Luckily enough, Bepboy had an unscheduled event in which the maxed 7 and averaged 8. The tactics made it even worse, only looking like they maxed 5-6. They might have went down another spot if they just did a little bit worse. Hopefully, Oreos can rise back up into the Top 3.
    
    

    8. Water Raiders

         It’s okay everyone. Stand back. We have everything under control. Yes, we know, the Water Raiders are back and coming back in style. This again, well-known army used to be in Medium Top 10s and maxed 12-18 and had the best of All tactics. Camperjohn is starting to slowly restore that great posture and commence new operations. The Water Raiders won their tournament battle with great sizes of 5-7. Tactics were off and on, but the most amazing aspect in this battle was that almost all of his troops that went to battle, were new to CP Warfare. He plans to train them into great soldiers and hopefully leaders one day. Good Luck WR!
    
    
    

    9. DJ Army 

         Don’t get me wrong when I placed DJ Army 9th. They were placed here because that was the only spot for them! The DJ army is an excellent army with great spirit within. They have a well known name, but it does attract rouges around CP and make them look a little off. On the other hand, I believe the DJs won their tourney battle in a horrific upset against the Ninja Freedom Force. The DJs were able to max 6 and average about 5. It was definitly a job well done and I have to give credit to their leaders.
    

    10. CP Force

         The CP Force has been forcing a lot lately. They used to be a dead no man army, but with a little bit of luck, and a little bit of handwork, they are maxing 5 again and averaging 4 all with splendid tactics. The beat the legendary Snow Fighters at the battle. It was a complete blow out as SF showed with 1. The CP Force are now hosting elections and more events to show more pride of their work.  Tips for New Reporters

Now, I’ve noticed that some of our current set of new reporters do not have much experience, with the posting dashboard, so I’ll be giving out some tips:

WordPress Tips

-Adding Pictures:

Pretty simple. There’s an “Upload/Insert” button above the writing box, and just click on the first option. The rest is straightforward.

-Adding a “Read More”

It’s the “double square” sign. Between the spellcheck and the “break link” sign.

-Advanced features

First, you need to click the “Kitchen sink” button to bring up the advanced toolset of WordPress. It’s the far right button. Then, more tools will appear, and you’ll be able to do many things that you never knew you could do, such as adding Headings, color, etc.

Posting Tips

-Start your post with a one line summary of your post

Yes. It is pretty unprofessional to start with “Hello, I’m feeling pretty good today so I want to post!!!!!!!!!” Instead, start with a one line summary. Something like: “Army A battled Army B for Server C”. or “This post looks into the amazingly fast-rising Army D”. Then add the Read More, and begin your post.

-Have lots of pictures

An image is worth a thousand words. No one likes reading a bunch of text. Have pictures- it helps the reader visualize.

-Don’t insert your opinion until the very end

Most news posts don’t have opinions at all (unless you’re a columnist of course). But if you want to put in your opinion, it’s better to have it all at the end than splatter it throughout the post; that would make it biased.

-Break up your post into sections and paragraphs

One thing that looks really bad in a news post is a post that only has one rambling paragraph. That’s boring. Break your post up into sections. Add headings and even tables of contents if you like.

Here’s an example of a recent post I made that follows the SMAC format.

 Correspondent and Columnist Applications

Columnists:

-You will write a weekly post as a summary of small and medium army news.

-The post will need to offer your commentary and opinion. (If it doesn’t it’s simply a normal report!)

-You get to write it from your point of view.

So, basically, you write a weekly post about a small and medium army event, army or war, or simply a summary of general news, that has your opinion in it. Basically, you can be biased. It’s your opinionated report. 

Correspondents:

The idea of a correspondent is a reporter who reports about an army that they are in. Correspondents will post news, battle results, etc. from their army. The news will be from their point of view. We do expect some bias in these posts, which is OK as long as you do not advertise, etc. in your posts.

Correspondent requirements:

As a correspondent, you will choose ONE army that you report about. The requirements are as follows:

• You MUST attend at least 1 event per week in the army that you are corresponding to. For example, if I want to correspond to GD, I must attend at least one GD event per week, or must have attended the last event if there was not an event this week.
• You MUST attend battles that you correspond to. One of the main ideas behind the correspondent is to get a battle report from a soldier’s point of view.
• The army you are corresponding to MUST be in the small-medium range. Should your army grow past the small-medium range, you may continue to correspond to that army.
• The army you are corresponding to MUST not have been in the Major army Top Ten within the last 2 weeks of application submission.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BECOMING A COLUMNIST, FILL OUT: Columnist Application Form

1. What is the name you use in the CP Army world?

2. Have you got any experience working for a CP Army news site?

3. Do you promise to remain active?

4. Write an example columnist post you would write. The post needs to contain recent news about small and medium armies. Remember that your opinion needs to be mixed in with the article- a columnist needs to have OPINION.

No one has posted the Medium Top 10 as we do not know who is doing it, so to keep all you armies happy I’ll be doing Fix’s Top 10 for  Small and Medium Armies(Seperate), I will also do a War Top 10, containing the Top 10 wars going on right know!

I decided to schedule a little contest for all Small and Medium armies. The winners will write a report about there army, send it too me, I will post on SMAC (all credit to them), Which will therefore publicitize there army . That’s it please comment below with your photo,army and leader.

Probably everyone reading this post knows RDA, but incase you don’t, I’ll explain. There once was an army called Pug’s Army lead by Puggie4276. They were one of those armies you see commenting on SMAC, saying their event sizes and stuff, but never get into the top ten. But one day Pug’s Army changed there name to Red Driller Army. It did nothing. Until an army called Pink Alliance came and they had war. The war was posted all over SMAC, and Red Driller Army got noticed. But it wasn’t in a good way. They were enemies with many armies. Pink Alliance, International Soldiers, Blue Army, etc. And everyone just hated them. They called them Purple Republic wannabes, trolls, noobs and more. Red Driller Army got into the small top 5 pretty quickly, but they fell out. The reason being Red Driller Army had mostly rouges. People got mad that they were in the small top ten so they started to hate RDA. And it went going and going and going. Alliances, wars, invasions, but nothing stopped Red Driller Army. One day Red Driller Army’s leader got angry and hacked other armies. News sites then called Red Driller Army an unoffical army. And days after that their site was gone. People thought Red Driller Army was gone for good. But they weren’t. They’re back. So, at their practice battle with Striking Raiders they got one troop. But Puggie was still proud. So proud he decided to declare war against Night Warriors! Night Warriors is a BIG step for an army like that, but Puggie is confident and he thinks they can do it. They call this war “Operation: Red Dawn”. Which has already been taken, causing more people to call them noobs. I personally think Red Driller Army can do well in this war. If all their troops are active and if they get as much rouges as usual, they could pull off 10-15. But will they? Probably not. But it’s possible.

The rap for the post is from a story I am writing. It is one of those Survivor type stuff. A challenge is to ride on an eagle in one of them, and a character named Gusher (Usher parody) raps. This is how it goes:

We’re flying so high, cause we’re in the sky. And we’re riding on an eagle, which should be illegal! And now we’re about to run into a tree, and I didn’t even get a chance to pee!

OM: Well, I’m not a huge fan of small armies. But, the side I would have to take is DJ army.

HJ: Why is that?

OM: I believe NW have no right to destroy a smaller army.

HJ: What do you think of this war?

OM: It’s just ridiculous, it was not even created for fun.

HJ: Do you think the war will be exciting?

OM: Honestly, I think the war will end quite fast. But through the time it continues, I predict it will be quite exciting!

HJ: Will you be looking at the site to see what is happening with the war?

So, Orange Moose (SMAC Reader) thinks the war will be quite exciting. DJ army has a lot of comments on their site saying that people can come to events, as does NW.

In my opinion, I too think this war could be quite interesting to read about. DJ army could win over tactics, NW could win over size. We are going to be having a look at the good and bad things about both armies…

DJ Army 

For a army that got back up after a fall in early January, DJ army have done very very well by reaching 3rd in the SMAC small top ten this week. But are they any match for NW?

Good Things 

1. The DJ army always has on time tactics, sometimes they can be a little bit wobbly. But every army is like that!

2. They are very confident, some armies would refuse to do a battle with a larger army. DJ army would take any army to battle with (Maybe not ACP yet!)

3. Always seem to have a good size for there size as a army.

Bad Things 

1. They seem to struggle with lines a bit.

2. Their name attracts roughs sometimes, which makes the army look bad with tactics.

Night Warriors 

The Night Warriors seem to be a good size army, but can they take DJ army with their big size?

Good Things 

1. The Night Warriors have a great size.

2. They have a lot of active troops.

Bad Things 

1. They struggle with tactics a little.

2. Lines are a bit wobbly.

OK, OK so many of you Guys think the Answer is pretty Obvious in many Reasons but you haven’t gotten the Answer in depths. So Today I will explain it and it may be long, so do go to the restroom and enjoy while I talk you into, ”What Keeps a Army Alive?” In this Post I have written, there is 3 important Chapters and a brief explanation of each chapter. The Chapters I am about to show may contain foul language but not too much.

Chapter I, What do I mean?

When I said, ”What keeps a Army Alive”, I was asking what makes a Army a strong, united Army in Club penguin. A Army needs some quality’s to keep it alive and healthy within the creation. A Army cannot just depend on its Troops and leadership, it depends on how much Effort you give into the Army and you need to Dedicate your time to it. A army cannot stay healthy and reach there goal by expecting Everything to be done by to Leader. The Leader’s main Purpose (Goal) is  to help lead the army and make wise decisions (Adviser). As a solider in the army your in, the leader is expecting you  to show up on time during events and stay focused and ready at all times staying Active. As as Leader in the army your in, the Soldiers are expecting you to have good leadership, wise decisions, knowledge and of course kind leadership. Both Soldiers and Leaders are not to cuss or rage at one another for doing a mistake, everyone makes mistakes and its not our fault we make the mistake. A Army survives by doing there job in the army.

Chapter II, Activeness

You all probably heard this word or the word used in a lot and a lot of times. You probably were wondering what it meant and why it was said a lot of times in front of your face. The term Activeness means: ”Marked by or involving direct participation.”   Activeness can be used in many ways but this term is the one that is more fond and common in our way of saying Activeness. Activeness is one of the key factors for a Army to survive and likely succeed. Being active may be hard for some of you because you might do a variety of activities outside in the real world, Sports, Job..etc. but others, simple as hell. Armies usually have this thing called: ”Active Counts” for the leaders to see who’s active and who’s not. It’s Pointless because many of the Soldiers put 6 or higher when there really like 3 or 4. Active Counts also help for support or to show off  there size. Some armies use them because they are dieing off or need some site support and views. That should Summarize, Activeness.

Chapter III, Loyalty

This Last Chapter summarizes The last key to make a Army Alive. Loyalty began a long time ago during Medieval Ages and further on. Loyalty is too give your service and obey the person higher in rank. Loyalty in Armies also plays a big role because soldiers need to respect and obey all commands from there leaders. And Leaders are supposed to make the Environment suitable for everyone. Loyalty comes in handy mainly during a Event (Battles,Invasions..etc.) Most Armies fail to do a perfect tactic because of Loyalty and when soldiers don’t obey there Leaders. Many soldiers don’t obey because they think its unfair how Leaders do all the work, But that’s how it is, You have to deal with it sadly enough. Loyalty means: ”The state or quality of being loyal.” Loyalty is hard to understand but you need to realize that leaders took the same pain when they were Soldiers like you.

Recently the Night Warriors have planned a mission named “Operation Vendetta” which is basically in memory of the once great but feared Night Warriors leader Vendetta. The Night Warriors are planning to take over the DJ Army’s nation, and if they accomplish that they will move onto another army to invade.

 I will now be going over both armies on their sizes, tactics, pros, cons, etc. I will start off with the DJ Army:

The DJ Army

Ah, yes the DJ Army a fairly small army but this army is filled with confidence, and in my opinion I believe they can actually take on the Night Warriors in the future. The DJ Army usually averages 5-8 sizes at events. There most recent event was a practice battle against the Ninja Freedom Force, this battle the DJ Army had decent tactics and size.

As I said before, the DJ Army are a small army and this is a huge challenge that they must overcome for their survival. If they want to succeed against the Night Warriors I suggest for them to recruit more and improve on their tactics because even if the Night Warriors are beating them in size they can play smart and beat them with tactics well only if the Night Warriors tactics are bad .

Dj Army Pros and Cons for the future war

Pros:

1. The DJ Army will be forced into recruiting and improving on their performances which can get them higher in the top ten, because they are usually hanging around at the bottom.

2. The DJ Army would be treated with respect if they succeed against the Night Warriors.

3. The DJ Army will be noticed all around the CP Army community due to this war because wars are very entertaining for the viewers.

Cons: 

1. The DJ Army are a little bit new and are not used to war. As for the Night Warriors they have been in war against the ACP and I’m sure they know a lot of stragedy in winning a lot of battles. The DJ Army will just have to try and outsmart the NW.

2. The DJ Army were not prepared for this unexpected war, they will have to step it up but in a small amount of time.

3. The DJ Army does not have many servers, so the Night Warriors have a huge advantage in this.

The Night Warriors

Oh yes, The very aggressive Night Warriors a very successful army. The Night Warriors are the “warrior” type of army that does not stop at anything, I learned this from their war against the ACP. The Night Warriors aren’t as very great ever since their previous leaders Vendetta and Tomb retired. Now under the leadership of Nick(DJ Slides) the Night Warriors have been getting a good average of 10-15 troops. Nick has hell-bent the Night Warriors on defeating many armies, Nick is a very intelligent person and i’m sure he gets his personality from Vendetta. I will now be going over a recent event the Night Warriors have had.

Not to long ago the Night Warriors had a recruiting session getting a decent amount of +10 troops.

This is a decent performance for a medium army, I believe the Night Warriors definetly have an advantage of size compared to the DJ Army, but in my opinion both armies tactics are even. Now lets move on the the Pros and Cons for the Night Warriors:

Pros:

1. The Night Warriors have experience with war which gives them a huge advantage since they know how to set up a good stragedy plan.

2. The Night Warriors have been having a lot more events than the DJ Army which really prepared them for the war.

3. The Night Warriors have been recruiting daily which is a very smart thing to do.

4. The Night Warrior soldiers are spear headed into defeating the DJ Army. 

Cons: 

1. The Night Warriors will be taken as an “evil” army by some people for invading an army smaller than them.

2. The Night Warriors could be defeated in this war by the DJ Army causing a huge upset and embarrassment.

Conclusion

I did my best into giving the DJ Army advice into winning this war. I will definetly be watching all the battles in this war, but I do believe this war will bring the DJ Army higher up into the top ten because if they do take my advice they will be improving on many things. I will be posting about the battles these armies have so I hope nobody gets to them before I do. Good luck to the DJ Army, and of course the Night Warriors!

An army with a distasteful history.  An army that hasn’t always been in with the crowd.  I’ve experienced this first hand, being a part of the original CPC myself.  The army was created by an infamous CP blogger, Jeepkid7.  The crew quickly rose to huge numbers ranging from twenty to thirty.  Oddly enough Jeepkid7 was not welcomed into the CP army community.  Armies were choosing to ignore CPC and honor them as a “fan club.”  Another army, Tacos, would have the same issue later.  CPC was shortly found dead after many armies took action to take down CPC.

(Files of the CPC site has been taken down [or I just can't find it] and cannot be found so the history is still unclear.  In this post I’ll try to get an interview with Boomer 20.)

Currently the CPC have been having invasions of servers and been getting great results.  Usually for a generation of CPC it starts off great and ends not-so-great.  CPC started off in the end of January, and has started had a huge rise.  Never has CPC gotten into the top ten.  This time they’re extremely close being ranked at eleventh.  Their last event shows a reason why they have.

The CPC also manage to hold an active chatbox.  During the event they were very close to a full chat, also when I was talking to them during this post they had a quite large chatbox for not having an event on at the time.  Seeing as they have an active chat, a good amount of events and posts, and great sizes they are a huge contender for the top ten at CPAC.  They’re contender are the Pirates who they recently announced invasions of.

“As you can cleary see up there, We are Number 11th and Pirates Stole our Formal Position of Number 10. We need to get the spot back and Crush them. So geuss what, We are invading there Capitol Server (there Only Server) to prove we are stronger and bigger Overall.”

Chat during an event.

The picture above shows the proof of an active chat that they hold.  Getting a full chat is a big deal when it comes to medium armies.  It usually boosts a lot of motivation to become a major army.  But will the power get to their head?

I got an interview with Iceberry, CPC‘s leader, who feels confident with the up-coming invasions of Pirates.  Pirates are currently the tenth best army but CPC feel as if they [[Pirates]] stole it from them.  It comes down to two potential armies fighting it out for the title of a major army.

Sadly Boomer 20 was not able to answer my private chat for reasons beyond me.  The reason I want an interview with Boomer 20 was because he was the reason CPC (and more importantly Jeepkid7) vanished from CP armies.  The CPC have died throughout many generations.  Will Iceberry finally be successful and be known as a CPC legend for brining them back?  Will the CPC defeat the Pirates or vise versa?  I’d love to hear your comments in the comment section below.  So Johnylumber, was this post bad?  You helped me out on this one.
