KLONDIKE, SMA Central Headquarters – As summer rolls in, SMAC introduces to you a tournament of a new kind, a tournament that reaches out to the minority of the community members – a Graphics Tournament, sponsored by Ming’s CP Graphics!
In order to participate in this tournament, you will have to fill out the following details in a comment below.

Please note that only the best EIGHT entries will be chosen to participate (could be limited to SIX should the entries be low). Extra spaces may be made available should there be a sufficient amount of applications. Sign up entries will come to a close on Saturday, July 2nd, in preparation for the first of the themed rounds. We are looking for designers of all skill levels to shine bright in this once in a life time opportunity.
I, along with the help of impartial judges, will seed or rank the designers and place them in their proper position. The bracket will run as an elimination tournament, process depending on how many people participate. The winner of the tournament will be handsomely rewarded with prize being announced at a later date.

Even Delcrux had to start somewhere to be where he is now.
At least Security’s learning how to actually draw rather than to just place text over and a background behind someone elses custom penguin with the addition of some cheap effect.
Good lord, the shit most “gfx designers” in our community do is basically adding goddamn text to another person’s drawing and then proclaiming themselves to be “GFX designers”.
Hell, Security’s current drawings would still do pretty good for army logos, buttons and icons if you think about it.
